Dear colleagues and friends,
The Ibero-American Society of Prenatal Screening and Treatment [SIADTP] is a non-profit organization whose objective is to promote education and research in the field of prenatal screening and treatment throughout Ibero-America. Members of SIADTP include professionals in America, Portugal, Spain and Italy. Organized by regions, membership into SIADTP is open to all those specialists interested in the areas of prenatal screening and treatment including obstetricians/gynecologists, perinatologists, neonatologists, pediatricians, pediatric sub-specialists and pediatric surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, residents and fellows.
Our ambitious work plan includes holding an annual meeting, offering periodic courses in the various countries where members reside, and facilitating research and other academic activities for other similar professional societies in the region.
December 6-8, 2009 we will hold our VIII annual meeting at the lavish Hyatt Regency Hotel in Downtown Miami. The event will include pre-meeting courses in fetal echocardiography and neurosonography, first trimester screening, as well as expert presentations, oral and poster presentations that reflect the latest advances in our field, and an opportunity for collaboration. We invite all of you to submit abstracts for consideration into the different areas covered by the meeting. We may also be able to transmit a live fetal surgery from Jackson Memorial Hospital. The meeting will be held in English and in Spanish with simultaneous translation.
